As he steps into this important national leadership role, we look forward to the experience, energy and vision he will bring to the future of Scouting across Australia. Ayden’s appointment will officially take effect from 22 November 2026.

Notice is given, pursuant to Section 20 of the Constitution, of the next meeting of the Branch Council of The Scout Association of Australia ACT Branch Inc. (Scouts ACT)

What? Annual General Meeting (AGM)
When? Thursday 28 May 2026
Time? 7:30 pm
Where? Scouts ACT Branch Office, 89 Kitchener St Garran

Nominations: In accordance with Section 19.1.3 of the Scouts ACT Constitution, Branch Executive Committee (BEC) members are elected at the AGM. If you wish to nominate for a position, please contact the Executive Officer for a nomination form. Nominations close 9:00 am Thursday 7 May 2026.

Attendance: In accordance with legislative requirements, attendance at the AGM must be in person. Details regarding proxy voting will be provided closer to the meeting date.

Voting Eligibility: Only financial Branch Council members with no outstanding fees are eligible to vote.

Business Items: Any additional items of business must be submitted in writing to the Executive Officer by 9:00 am Tuesday 21 April 2026.

The AGM is open to all members and friends of Scouts ACT.
