AMSA Indigenous We serve as a collaborative effort between Indigenous and non-Indigenous AMSA medical students

AMSA Indigenous is a representative stream project within the Australian Medical Students’ Association which serves as a collaborative effort between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. Elevate the voices and interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students within AMSA. The primary aims of AMSA Indigenous are as follows:
- To ensure AMSA is a Culturally safe and responsive o

rganization free from discrimination, racism, bullying and harassment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
- To have input and consultation with internal and external policies within AMSA.
- To create opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students within AMSA and externally.
- To recognise and reduce barriers for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students to participate in AMSA.
- To develop Culturally Safe and responsive resources that can be utilised by both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous medical students.
