Ever wanted to try your hand at the coastal sounds of the ukelele? 🌊✨

Join Australian-Fijian singer-songwriter Andrea Kirwin for ukelele workshops at Between the Tides in Airlie Beach on Saturday 4 July. 🐠

It's one of a number of workshops and activities happening alongside live music on the main stage at Between the Tides. All ages welcome!

Join Yooribaya Cultural Experiences and Ngaro Traditional Custodians at Between the Tides for two very special workshops.

🎨 A children's art workshop inspired by County, culture and storytelling

🍂 An artefact workshop exploring the stories and cultural knowledge held within traditional artefacts from Ngaro Country, through storytelling and discussion

Both workshops are FREE and running from 5.30pm - 7pm, drop in anytime! Included in your Between the Tides event ticket.

QMF is pleased to launch a new partnership with Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron for the inaugural Brisbane to Bundaberg Yacht Race.

The Brisbane to Bundaberg is setting sail today, and QMF will be there to welcome crews with live music at the finish line on Saturday. ⛵🎶

Brisbane-born piano man Bradley McCaw and blues and rootsy singer-songwriter Ryan Giles will provide the tunes at a ‘Welcome to Bundaberg’ celebration.

Bundaberg locals – head down to the Bundaberg marina precinct on Saturday from 2pm onwards for live music, food, drinks and a relaxed coastal energy. 🐠

We’ll also have our own QMF yacht competing – keep your eyes out for the Obsession, skippered by Matthew Coulter, on the live race tracker!

Keen to be a part of live music, community and connection, surrounded by the sparkling Great Barrier Reef coastline? 🌊🎶🐠

We’re looking for volunteers to help us bring Between the Tides to life in Airlie Beach on Saturday 4 July, with ticketing, merchandise sales and front of house roles available.

You’ll receive a wristband, so once you’ve wrapped up, you’ll be able to enjoy the event and catch artists like Boy & Bear and Jem Cassar-Daly on stage afterwards.

Tambo – Spot yourself in these great photos? 👀

On Sunday, more than 200 of you brought your great energy, boot-scooting moves and community spirit to the Tambo Bush Dance, our second stop on this year’s Outback Trail. 🙌

This true outback hoe-down was led by local line-dancing queens Leilani and Lorraine, with a soundtrack by Good Will Remedy, Blake Benecke, a special appearance by the Tambo State School Choir, and more. 🤠

Thanks to Blackall-Tambo Regional Council Visit Blackall Tambo for hosting us, the Bidjara people for welcoming us to your beautiful Country, and to all our partners. 🤩

It’s our third time being nominated for this award, recognising our impact in the places we bring music to. 🎶

The Music Cities Awards are a global competition celebrating innovative projects that use the transformational power of music to improve their communities. 👏

This nomination is a testament to our team, the artists and funding partners we work with, and the Outback Queensland communities who welcome us with open arms.

Congratulations to the other nominees, and thanks to Sound Diplomacy for recognising our work! Winners will be announced in Kingston upon Hull, UK, in June.
