For the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Grand Central Floral Parade?

We're taking our iconic disco ball and sending it skyward!

Our 2026 Carnival of Flowers float theme is:
🌸 Hot Air Balloon Adventure 🌸

Decorated with flowers, colour and creativity, our balloon will travel through the streets of Toowoomba alongside community members carrying clouds that represent connection, visibility, pride and belonging.

This community-led float is proudly coordinated by 2Spirits & QC and celebrates our LGBTIQA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities, alongside allies, families and friends.

🌈 Help Shape the Future of Rainbow-Inclusive Aged Care in Queensland!

Are you an LGBTQ+ older person living in or around Meanjin (Brisbane) or Naamba (Nambour/Sunshine Coast)?

We're working with SCU to invite LGBTQ+ older people to take part in a community focus group to help shape a new model of rainbow-inclusive residential aged care that will be implemented in mainstream aged care settings from 2028.

This is an opportunity to share your experiences, ideas, and hopes for the future of aged care, helping ensure services are welcoming, inclusive, and affirming for LGBTQ+ older people.

2Spirits and QC, in partnership with the University of Queensland, are inviting community members to share their knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and experiences with mpox and the mpox vaccine.

Your voice will help improve health messaging and support across Queensland.
If you are 16+, live in Queensland, and identify as a gay or bis*xual man, another man who has s*x with men (cis or trans), a trans woman, or a non-binary person, and have been s*xually active in the last six months, you're eligible to participate.

🎈🌈 Join the 2Spirits & QC Carnival of Flowers Float 2026! 🌈🎈

We're excited to invite our LGBTIQ+SB communities, families, friends, and allies to be part of our 2026 Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Grand Central Floral Parade float.
This year we're taking to the skies with a colourful Hot Air Balloon theme! Our float will feature a giant floral balloon, while participants bring the magic to life by carrying colourful cloud props throughout the parade route.
