Australian National Flag Association We are a non-political organisation that aims to promote a wider appreciation of the history and significance of our chief national symbol.

We welcome membership from anyone who wishes to protect our flag and honour its unique story. If you want to know the history of our flag, and the significance of its design, ANFA (Qld) can help. Similarly, we offer information about flag-flying protocol and educational resources that can be used by teachers of primary and high school as they share the story of our flag. We also encourage individu

als, community groups, local councils and governments to celebrate important occasions for our flag, including Flag Day, September 3 of every year, and Australia Day, January 26.
