Meet Taste Don’t Waste at the Western Balkans Circular Economy EXPO 2026.

Through its app, consumers can buy surplus food from local businesses at discounts of 50% or more. Active in Tirana and Durrës, the platform connects 55 business partners with over 15,000 users and has already saved more than 4,500 kg of food from waste.

🌱 Training on Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) Continues in Gjilan

The Community Development Fund (CDF) continued its series of two-day training sessions for municipal officials, micro and small businesses, and civil society organizations, with support from the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung.

The training took place on 29–30 September 2026, bringing together participants from Gjilan, Kamenica, Viti, Ferizaj, Kacanik, Shtime, Shterpce, Hani i Elezit.

Participants gained practical knowledge of the legal and technical framework for RECs, including governance and membership, registration and grid connection, smart metering, energy sharing, and billing.

During October, the training sessions will continue in Prizren, Peja and Gjakova, bringing together representatives from municipalities across Kosovo
