Water is one of our most valuable natural resources – and using it wisely is essential for the future of sustainable agriculture.

As part of the project, we are continuing our series of online trainings with the fourth session, “Introduction to Water Management and Conservation”, financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

The training will focus on practical approaches to managing and conserving water in agriculture, helping participants understand how water can be used more efficiently while supporting sustainable food production.

During the training, participants will explore:
- Water management techniques for agriculture
- Rainwater harvesting and ways to collect and use rainwater
- Water-efficient farming practices
- The importance of responsible water use for sustainable agriculture
- Practical approaches to reducing water waste and improving efficiency

The session will provide participants with useful knowledge and practical ideas that can be applied in agricultural settings, gardens, and everyday life.

Building Youth Leadership for Social Transformation and Peace

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the STAR Youth National Training, held on June 10–11, 2026 in Prishtinë, Kosova.

Over two intensive days, young participants came together to explore the role of youth work in social transformation, peacebuilding, and reconciliation.

Through interactive non-formal education methods, group activities, reflections, and open discussions, participants strengthened their skills in:
- creating safe and inclusive spaces;
- communication and active listening;
- teamwork and group dynamics;
- understanding conflict as an opportunity for dialogue and growth;
- promoting empathy, respect, and cooperation among communities;

The training created a space where participants could learn from each other, challenge perspectives, and reflect on how young people can become active contributors to more inclusive, cohesive, and peaceful communities.

The STAR Youth National Training was implemented within the framework of the STAR Youth project, which aims to empower young people as agents of positive social change and strengthen intercultural understanding across the region.

We are grateful to all participants for their energy, openness, and commitment throughout the training. Your engagement is a powerful reminder that sustainable peace is built through dialogue, trust, and meaningful connections.

We look forward to continuing this journey during the five-day international training in September in Serbia.

Apply for the STAR Youth two day national training and strengthen your competences in youth work, communication, group dynamics, and understanding conflict in community settings.

🎓 The Curriculum is Ready!
We are proud to present the curriculum developed within the STAR Youth project – a result of joint work and collaboration between all project partners 🤝

This curriculum is designed to strengthen youth work, support educators, and provide a structured and modern learning approach on social transformation and reconciliation, peacebuilding. It is organized into carefully developed modules covering key topics and skills for young people today.

The curriculum will soon be available on partners’ websites, as well as on the official project website (coming soon).

Its first implementation will take place through National Trainings in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and Croatia.
