Continuing to strengthen expertise in the water sector, our Fjolla 🌸 recently completed the 5th module of the Utility Management Training (UMT) in Budapest, focused on Efficient Plant Operation.

Alongside participating in the program, she joined as a guest speaker, sharing insights on integrated wastewater management, lessons learned from wastewater treatment plant operations, and future infrastructure development in Kosovo.

The module also offered valuable opportunities to connect with water sector professionals, exchange experiences, and explore innovative approaches and best practices from leading utilities in Hungary. 🌱

Call for Papers for the Faculty of Economics Conference

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Prishtina will organize the conference “Care Work, Gender Equality, and Social Resilience” on October 13, 2026.

We invite you to submit scientific papers related to unpaid work, gender inequalities in employment, current poverty levels, and their impact on women, as well as other similar topics.

The deadline for submitting abstracts of your papers is August 10, 2026, and the results of the abstract review will be announced on August 30, 2026.

The conference is co-organized by the Faculty of Economics, the Gender Equality Agency within the Office of the Prime Minister, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Foundation, and UN Women in Kosovo.
