UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center is grateful to the Worcester Red Sox and fans for their generosity at Polar Park this summer in support of our pediatric patients!

Through the Speed Pitch game, donations during ticket sales and at concessions, and the new Sherwood's Diner ice cream partnership, the WooSox Foundation raised $40,000 for UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center. Sasha Svendsen, MD, Chief of our Child Protection Program represented the CMC to accept the donation that will help all of our pediatric patients.

We’re proud to support the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office with a $1,000 donation to help keep local families warm this winter. 🧥❄️

Each year, Sheriff Lew and his team provides thousands of winter coats to children, families, and individuals in need through their Annual Winter Coat Drive. We’re honored to again support this meaningful initiative. ❤️

This morning, the WooSox Foundation proudly continued its tradition of visiting Park Ave Elementary School in Webster for a student-led press conference.

Fourth graders put Nick Sogard in the hot seat with plenty of captivating questions. He even earned the students 10 extra minutes of recess on Monday by hitting one over their Green Monster!
