We recently published a new blog post: Humanities Students Go Beyond the Biomedical for a Healthy Multilingual Kansas by Dr. Rachel Showstack! ✨
Our new student coalition is making waves beyond the biomedical to advance our understanding of the human side of health and build a world in which the latest advances in health technology can benefit all humans equally. Thanks to grant support from the Mellon Foundation, the Wichita Humanities Internships Reward Employers program allowed us to bring three wonderful students onto our team. The program provides paid, for-credit internships to undergraduate students majoring in humanities fields, such as history, philosophy, linguistics, or cultural anthropology, allowing them to utilize their skill sets to develop their careers and advance society.
