Meet one of our Board members, Guy! 🌟

For the past year, Guy Gordon has brought his time, leadership, and heart to Keys to Change SC as a member of our Board of Directors. He currently serves as Chair of the Development Committee and is also a member of the Finance Committee, helping guide both the growth and the stewardship of our mission.

Guy has a genuine heart for serving our unhoused neighbors. Alongside his work with KTC, he's deeply involved at Seacoast Church - Summerville Campus, partnering with their ministry to the unhoused and underserved in our community.

We're so grateful for leaders like him who show up, again and again, for the people we serve. Thank you for all you do!

We are so grateful for the hearts of our community. That support is what makes it possible for our residents to do the hard work of starting over, one everyday basic at a time.

Cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and household items help turn a house into a safe, steady place to land.

One of our youngest guests at Anchor House completed his time with us this past weekend!

"At the age of 24, many would wonder if a younger resident could successfully complete their time here with us," said Christy Wheeler of the Anchor House. "He set his mind to do it, got a job and used the time wisely to save his money."

He landed a job quickly with Mercedes Benz in Ladson and was eventually hired on permanently. We're proud of what he accomplished, and we know his story can be an example for others coming through Anchor House.

We are so grateful for our partners at Summerville Presbyterian Church! 🙌

SPC lives out their mission to "house the homeless, feed the hungry, and serve God's people" in a very real and tangible way and so many of their members show up for our neighbors at Keys to Change again and again.

Year after year, SPC has included Keys to Change in their annual mission giving, and their consistent, generous support has made a life-changing difference for our neighbors rebuilding their lives.

The Seekers Sunday Class provides essential items to our residents every month and beyond that, a whole community of volunteers, donors, and advocates from SPC has been a steady, faithful presence in our work. We couldn't do what we do without communities like this one standing beside us. 🤍

Ginny Vicini, Dee Dillingham, and Kim Tornabene REPRESENT!🙌

We had the best time at the Summerville Chamber Business After Hours event hosted by Dorchester Seniors and were honored to be among the nonprofit members featured!

It's moments like these that remind us how deeply rooted this community is in caring for one another. The work being done by our neighbors, for our neighbors, is something truly special and we are so grateful to be a part of it.
