Sons of The American Legion is meeting tonight at 18:30 at Post21 - 105 Sumter Ave in Summerville. Anyone whom is a son or grandson of a Veteran or Military Service Member is invited to attend!

Do you want to continue to serve your community? Are you a member of the American Legion? Consider joining our Honor Guard here in Summerville. We are looking for new members to continue honoring those who have served. Honor Guard details help honor those who have served and passed. Funeral details and special events are some of the services requested. If you are interested please send us a DM and we will pass along your information to our Honor Guard POC.

It is with a heavy heart that we pass along the loss of a fellow veteran and Legionnaire. John Eagan passed on 25 July. He was 90 years young. As soon as we learn of services information we will pass it along.
John was an active member of the post for several years and prior to his declining health was responsible for maintaining the grounds and preparing for our Monthly meetings. A new generation of Legionnaires have taken up his sword and will continue his legacy. God's Speed John!
