We use our practical 5W based work plan, short term assistance, and long term follow ups to help veterans with recovery, stabilization, and reintergration. We are leading the fight to eradicate Veteran Homelessness on Long Island. We are the premier organization for providing holiday meals to 300+ Homeless Veterans and Veterans suffering from substance dependency and substance abuse on Long Island

. We proudly serve holiday meals on Thanksgiving, Christmas/Chanukah, February Heros for Heroes Day, St Patrick's Day, Easter/Passover and Memorial Day. We conduct two clothing drives every year; we've successfully re-stocked the Northport VA Clothing Bank for seven years in a row. Our Organization now aids Veterans, reentering the workforce, with car repair and back auto insurance payments. We also assist Veterans with any COVID related bills like back rent and/or food bill. Lastly, we are leading the fight against the Northport VA closure of the Northport VA Homeless Shelter "Building 11". Thank God for United Veteran Beacon House https://uvbh.org/ for their efforts. Without them, those displaced Veterans would be on the street. We will hold all elected officials, municipal offices & governmental agencies accountable for actions that negatively impact the health & welfare of Veterans. Our current fight is over HR 2568 the Liverfluke Bill. We accept all donations to help pay for the cost of the holiday meals, car repairs etc. Please help!!

Today, Live 5 News interviewed my brother, Tracy, and me. Tracy, a U.S. Army Sergeant, showed tremendous courage by sharing his story and speaking openly about his recent eviction and the challenges he faced trying to navigate a fragmented veteran assistance system.

His willingness to come forward will empower other veterans to ask for help when they need it. That is how we break the stigma, reach those who are struggling, and ultimately help prevent veteran su***de.

I’m proud to say that through the Veteran Recovery Coalition, we were able to help stop the eviction process and, today, provide him with a vehicle to help him regain his independence and move forward.

This is exactly why we do what we do… one veteran, one family, one life at a time.

Thank you, Wilson Baggett for Auditor, for your help registering this donated vehicle, which will give a deserving veteran the transportation needed to get back to work and continue rebuilding their life.

You are a true American patriot, and your staff was absolutely outstanding throughout the process. We are grateful for your support of our veterans and our community. 🇺🇸

Thank you to Amy Demuth-Stern and Travis Stern for stepping up and securing a vehicle for a Veteran in desperate need of transportation.

Veteran Recovery Coalition was able to help prevent this Veteran’s eviction and assist him in securing a new job. This vehicle will ensure he can get to and from work while continuing to provide for his three and four year old children.

Thank you both for your generosity, compassion, and commitment to helping those who have served. You are truly great Americans. 🇺🇸

You are a great American, and I look forward to continuing the conversation and working together to improve the lives of veterans and their families. 🇺🇸
