We are so excited for the day (hopefully soon) when we can open the Impact Center with the new library so that students can easily access the books!

The students enjoyed another Saturday of learning and fun! The staff continued the CDP check-ins this week, which allow them to have one on one time with each child to talk about how they are doing at home, at school, and in the community.

Please pray for our Senior 4 students who began taking their national exams today. These exams stretch over a couple of weeks and determine whether or not they are able to graduate from “O” level of high school to “A” level. We are so proud of these students who have worked hard to reach this point in their academic careers.

Because field trips are currently prohibited in Uganda, our candidate students were not able to take their much anticipated trips to the Zoo/Airport/Meterological Center (P7) or University visits (S4). S4 students will begin their exams in just a couple weeks, and P7 Candidates will begin in November. These exams cover many years of study and determine whether students can proceed to the next level of their education. To honor and reward them for their hard work to reach this point, since they couldn't go on the usual trips, we hosted a party for them. They had games, dancing, fellowship and abundant food. Staff asked the students to dress up in their favorite outfits and come enjoy the day. They all had a wonderful time! Several commented that it was particularly special because they had all they could eat, and for many, it was their first time sitting at a round dining table, which they said made them feel extra special! Thank you for all who donate to make this possible!

FINAL DAYS — WE ARE SO CLOSE!

What started as a vision for a permanent home for Impact One is getting closer to reality. Because of your incredible generosity, $40,885 has been raised toward our $50,000 Impact Center goal!

That means we have just $9,115 left to go.

And as we enter the final days of our campaign, every gift is still being DOUBLED by our generous matching donors.

This Impact Center will be so much more than buildings. It will be a safe and welcoming place where children can learn, worship, play, build relationships, and grow—and a home from which our team can continue walking alongside the community for years to come.

If you've been thinking about giving, now is the time.

And if you've already given, would you help us one more time by sharing this post?

We are deeply grateful for every person who has helped bring us this far.

$9,115 to go. Let's open the doors!

Together, these facilities will create a safe, secure, and welcoming place where hundreds of children can gather each week for mentoring, education, discipleship, food, and community.
