🚨 IMMEDIATE NEED 🚨

Rain or shine, our neighbors experiencing homelessness still face the elements and we need your help!

Springfield Rescue Mission is currently in immediate need of rain ponchos to help keep the men, women, and children we serve dry and protected during wet weather. ☔

Something as simple as a rain poncho can make a BIG difference for someone without a safe, dry place to go. 💙

Riding with Purpose. Giving with Heart. 🏍️❤️

A HUGE thank you to the Buffalo Soldiers motorcycle group for their generous monetary donation to the Springfield Rescue Mission!

Their kindness and generosity will help us continue providing essential services to men, women, and children in need throughout our community. From warm meals and clothing to life-changing programs that help individuals rebuild their lives, every gift makes a meaningful difference.

It's community partners like the Buffalo Soldiers who remind us that making an impact isn't just about what we do individually, but what we can accomplish together ❤️

To the Buffalo Soldiers, thank you for riding alongside us in our mission to provide hope, help, and a pathway toward a brighter future!

Together, we're making a difference, one life at a time!

💍❤️ A Wedding Gift That Keeps on Giving!

Weddings are a celebration of love, but one special couple decided to share that love beyond their wedding day!

Last weekend, our Food Services Director and his wife celebrated a beautiful milestone as their son got married. But instead of sending guests home with traditional wedding favors, the bride and groom chose to do something a little different...and incredibly meaningful!

They invited their guests to assemble "Blessing Bags" for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Each bag was thoughtfully filled with:
🧦 A pair of socks
🧼 A small hygiene bag
🫧 Body wipes
❤️ An emergency thermal blanket
💌 A handwritten note of encouragement

These special gifts were distributed to guests attending our Public Lunch program, and the response was heartwarming. Each recipient was not only blessed by the thoughtful gesture but incredibly grateful to know that someone was thinking of them.

What a beautiful reminder that love isn't just something we celebrate...it's something we share. ❤️

To the newlyweds, thank you for making your special day an opportunity to bless others. And to every wedding guest who participated, thank you for helping spread kindness, compassion, and hope throughout our community!

Now that's a wedding favor worth remembering! 💍

Doing good feels good! 💙🙌

What happens when 12 enthusiastic MassMutual employees spend a day volunteering at the Springfield Rescue Mission? A whole lot of hard work, laughter, and community impact!

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming this incredible crew, who rolled up their sleeves and jumped right into our various service areas, experiencing firsthand the work that happens at the Mission every day.

When asked about their experience, Liz shared on behalf of her team: "We loved every moment of it and hope we can help again in the future.”

And we love hearing that! ❤️ In fact, this group was having so much fun that they even stayed beyond their scheduled volunteer time!

A HUGE thank you to the MassMutual team for sharing your time, energy, and enthusiasm with us. Your willingness to serve helps us continue making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Could YOUR workplace be our next corporate partner? 🏢 Whether it's a team volunteer day, a fundraiser, or a workplace giving initiative, our Corporate Partnership Program offers meaningful ways for businesses to give back.

Let's work together to transform lives, strengthen our community, and have a little fun along the way!
