Tomorrow, Buzz Robotics is back on the competition field. 🚀

We’re heading to Southington High School for the CyberKnight Invitational, an off-season FRC competition hosted by Team 195.

Our students are ready to put the robot back on the field and see what we can do.

Competition isn't just about the results. It's about putting skills into practice, learning from other teams, working through problems, and giving our students another opportunity to grow.

October 17. Southington. Let’s Buzz it up. 🚀

October is Manufacturing Month, and Buzz Robotics is putting those skills to work.

This season, our students are preparing for the NE District UMass Lowell Event, March 25–27, 2027.

Getting a competition robot ready takes more than building. Students are designing, fabricating, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and solving problems together. They’re learning how precision, technology, creativity, and teamwork come together to make something work.

That’s what makes FIRST Robotics such a valuable manufacturing experience. Students aren’t just learning about these careers. They’re getting hands-on experience with the skills behind them.

Competition season is coming. We’re getting ready. 🚀

Buzz has been built by a lot of people over the years.

Today, we’re taking a moment to recognize the former mentors and advisors who have given their time, knowledge, energy, and support to Buzz Robotics.

Their impact doesn’t end when they step away from the team. The skills they taught, the problems they helped solve, the students they encouraged, and the traditions they helped create continue to shape Buzz today.

To everyone who has been part of Buzz as a mentor or advisor: thank you for helping build this team and the students behind it.

We’re grateful for the foundation you helped create.

Today is World Teachers’ Day, and we’re celebrating the educators who make opportunities like Buzz possible.

Teachers do so much more than teach a subject. They encourage students to try something new, make space for curiosity, challenge them to think differently, and help them see possibilities they may not have considered before.

To the teachers who support Buzz students, open doors, stay late, ask the extra question, and cheer students on: thank you.

Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

Help Buzz!

Our Buzz Robotics Can Drive is coming up on Saturday, November 7 from 10 AM–2 PM at the Annex.

Bring your redeemable cans and bottles, say hello to the Buzz team, and help support another season of student-led robotics.

Every can adds up, and every bit of community support helps give our students more opportunities to build, compete, lead, and grow.

Robotics is even better when you get to share it.

In the last couple weeks, Buzz students volunteered at JFK Middle School's Robotics Club for their first meeting of the year. With many of the middle school students just getting started, our Buzz students had a chance to step into a different role: encouraging, answering questions, and helping introduce a younger group to the world of robotics.

For our students, opportunities like this are a chance to practice leadership and give back to the robotics community that has helped them grow.

We’re proud to see Buzz students sharing what they know and helping the next generation get started.

We appreciate everyone who stopped by, shared the fundraiser, brought friends and family, or simply helped spread the word.
