What if the greatest distance we feel from God isn’t caused by outright rebellion, but by the quiet pull of distraction?

We live in an age overflowing with voices competing for our attention—from television and advertising to AI and the endless scroll of social media. With so much ready to occupy our minds, it’s easy to lose sight of the One our hearts were made to seek.

So how can we quiet the noise and return our focus to God? In the final message of Benchmarks, Part III, you’re invited to discover how freedom from distraction is deeply connected to reverence for God. As we encounter the unwavering focus of God himself, we’ll see how that same reverence can reshape us from the inside out.

A God-centered, undistracted life is possible—and this message will help you take a meaningful step toward it.

What if everything you’ve been told about Christianity misses the mark entirely?

Is faith really just a weekly social club, or merely a cosmic insurance policy to keep us out of hell? If you ask a dozen believers why they follow Jesus, you’ll likely get a dozen conflicting answers—leaving most of us asking: What is the actual point?

You’re not the first to wonder. In Mark 10, Jesus’ closest companions—the ones walking in his footsteps every single day—missed the point entirely. In a moment of raw, poignant clarity, Jesus stops the noise and cuts straight to the heart of what he actually intended for your life.

Step inside, lean in, and discover what following him was always meant to be.

Have you ever wondered what people really see when they look at your life? Or what story your choices might tell long after the moment has passed?
We’ve all heard the saying, “actions speak louder than words.” And it’s true: what we do often reveals what matters most to us. But our actions don’t come from nowhere—they grow out of the motives that we carry inside.
So how do we shape those motives in a way that leads to a life marked by perseverance, and even more to the point, faithfulness? In this message, we’ll see how our motives and our faithfulness are linked, and how we can let God shape us when we submit those motives fully to Him.

Have you ever wondered what people really see when they look at your life? Or what story your choices might tell long after the moment has passed?

We’ve all heard the saying, “actions speak louder than words.” And it’s true: what we do often reveals what matters most to us. But our actions don’t come from nowhere—they grow out of the motives, desires, and priorities we carry inside.

So how do we shape those motives in a way that leads to a life marked by trust, honor, excellence, and a heart that pleases God? Scripture tells us that real change is possible when we realign our lives with Him—but what does that look like in everyday life?

Join us this Sunday at The Gathering as we open God’s Word together and explore how the unseen things that shape us—our motives—can be surrendered, transformed, and tamed.
There’s a place for you here!

We all get tired. Deeply. Down to our core.

But Jesus hasn't called us to a "grin and bear it" kind of life. The perseverance He offers us is vastly different, and if we'll pursue Him fully, we'll find something inside of us that's unexplainable.

A lot of people don't know the story of how The Gathering came into existence.
In this two-part podcast with Small Town Network a few weeks back, Jason Ham sat down with Erik Neilsen and Tony Coulombe to tell the story of how God led them to Springfield, Massachusetts, to establish this new church.

What do you do when the strength you were counting on is gone? Not just the “I need a nap” kind of tired—but the kind of tired that settles deep in your soul...

If you’ve ever felt like you were running on empty, wondering how much longer you could keep going, this message is for you.
Because, at some point, all of us have to face the question: how do you keep going when you feel done? How do you endure when everything in you wants to quit?

The good news is, Scripture doesn’t hand us clichés or tell us to simply “grin and bear it.” It gives us something far better: a picture of perseverance that is honest, hopeful, and deeply connected to the One who sustains us.

Join us as we discover not only what perseverance calls us toward, but who we must pursue when endurance feels impossible.

Ever felt like you're just...done? How do you keep going when you're tired of the "going"?

Jesus didn't call us to live a "grin and bear it" kind of life, where we suck it up, slog through, and hope we somehow make it through another week. Instead, he calls us to something much better...something not powered by ourselves.

Join us this Sunday as we understand what it means to persevere, but not on our own strength.

What if the church was never meant to be a place where a few professionals carry the mission while everyone else watches from the seats? Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to outsource our faith—to hand the work of discipleship, ministry, compassion, and courage to a paid church employee who distributes religious goods and services on behalf of the congregation. But open Acts 9, and a very different picture comes roaring to life. Yes, Saul will one day become the world-famous Apostle Paul. But before that happens, the story turns on the obedience of ordinary people: Ananias stepping into risk, Barnabas opening a door, disciples welcoming a former enemy, believers carrying the mission forward. The chapter asks a searching question: what might God do when everyday followers of Jesus stop spectating and start saying yes?

In this message, special guest Sean Thomé invites us to rediscover the kind of church we see in Acts 9—not a crowd gathered around a gifted few, but a Spirit-empowered people ready to move. The expansion of the Kingdom of Jesus was never meant to be delegated, delayed, or reserved for someone with a title. It is an invitation placed in front of all of us: to notice where God is working, to take the next step of obedience, and to live each day as someone sent. What if the next chapter of the story depends, in part, on your simple yes?

Something has shifted—and we can all feel it. The ground beneath our shared sense of right and wrong feels less steady than it once did. Convictions that used to feel common, dependable, and clear have been questioned, weakened, or quietly abandoned. And one of the things that once helped hold us together—accountability—now often feels like a relic from another time. We see it in the courts, in classrooms, in workplaces, and in everyday life: consequences no longer seem as certain as they once were.

But what if the breakdown around us is also an invitation? What if, in a culture that is losing its boundaries, Jesus offers something better than restriction—something that leads to life? For the follower of Jesus, God-given borders are not barriers to freedom; they are pathways to safety, wisdom, and abundance.
