o Alexander Sherman, Springfield City Forester, will be speaking about the City Forestry Service and the management of trees in the city located on the tree belts, terraces, and parks, including areas such as the Di**le. Recently many of the trees were cut down in Thompson Triangle due to disease Join the meeting to find out more and bring your questions relating to trees in our neighborhood.

The 2nd clean up your Neighborhood Council helped with was at residents house who is physically unable to keep up with his large yard including some large downed trees. big thanks to Jesse Lederman. Mcknight board member Arianna gray, neighbor Trevor Hiatt Smith who spent most of their day there! also board members James Johnson , Walter Kroll , and neighbor David H. Spafford put in work. again big thanks to Dave with his chain saw and trailer hauling all the down tree limbs! Great work by all!

happy Labor Day Weekend. Saturday your McKnight Neighborhood Council was busy with 2 cleanup locations. pictured below was the clean up on St James ave- the dry bridge which has been overgrown and the sidewalk impassible. Great partnership with Springfield College and their Humanics Day freshman! Big thanks to neighbor David H. Spafford who brought his own landscaping array including a trailer for debris! Board members Abdullah Abdul Rahim, James Johnson , and Walter Kroll
