We had our biggest food delivery order this week, coming in at 4,500lbs! It included pineapples, mangos, bananas, plantains, cucumbers, chicken, turkey, beef, and canned goods! This couldn't be done without help of a lot of wonderful volunteers unloading and restocking and the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts!
The extra special thing about the order... it only cost us $5! That's right! When we say that your financial donation of any size makes a huge difference we really mean it! You can be a part of making an impact.

Thank you!

There are some truly excellent organizations that work tirelessly for the good our city, and one of the lesser known of these organizations is the First Pioneer Valley Dream Center. Located right on Main Street in Springfield’s South End, the Dream Center is on the front lines of meeting some of the city’s most profound needs, especially food insecurity. Today, The Gathering took another step with this ministry partner, spending about 4-5 hours helping rework some of their space to accommodate more people. We were honored to love on them so they can continue loving on others!
This is how we gather with our city!

We are so excited to show you our update cafe space! At the Center we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to maximize our resources and adapt to the growing needs of the community. This meant we needed a bigger seating area!
We had an amazing team of volunteers work hard to create this welcoming area! Thank you to The Gathering church for your partnership!

Despite school delays, we will be opening at our normal time today. Be extra careful traveling to us and remember we are open until noon so you can wait until later this morning to visit us. There is a lot of ice in front of our building, use caution when entering.
