I love the intentionality behind the name 90+ Project! “90” represents the 90 minutes of a soccer match and symbolizes a unique “story” that unfolds on the field. Each game has a clear beginning and end, filled with triumphs and setbacks, mirroring the larger journeys we experience in life.

The "+" symbolizes the "added time" at the end of each half— a chance to reclaim lost moments. For us, this "added time" reflects our commitment to positively impacting or adding to the story of every young person in our project.

“Project" represents their dedication to continuous, collaborative growth. Soccer becomes more than a game; it’s a powerful tool for building community, fostering an inclusive environment, nurturing character, leadership, and mental wellness, and creating opportunities for our stories to inspire and connect through the beautiful game.

Spokane Police Officer Prim wanted to recognize Aaron Lewis with a Kindness Citation. He is not only an outstanding coach but also the Director of Programming for 90+ Project Soccer club. Thank you for building character, leadership, and mental wellness in your communities young athletes.

Dear 90+ Soccer Family,

Over the past several days, we have been connecting with families throughout our 90+ community who have been impacted by the Spokane wildfires. In response, we have established the 90+ Wildfire Player Support Fund to help provide immediate support for affected players and families. Contributions to the fund will assist with player fees, uniform and gear replacement, and other immediate needs. Any funds remaining after wildfire relief efforts will be directed toward future player scholarships, allowing this generosity to continue impacting families for years to come.

If you would like to support a family in need, we invite you to consider making a contribution to the fund using the link below. Most importantly, if your family has lost a home or has been significantly impacted by the wildfires and you have not yet connected with us, please don't hesitate to reach out. We want to come alongside you during this difficult time and provide support however we can. 90+ Soccer Family,

Today, our hearts are with every family, first responder, and neighbor affected by the devastating fires across our Spokane community.

Our deepest concern is for the safety and well-being of every individual impacted by this tragedy and we are praying for those who have been displaced, those facing uncertainty, and everyone working tirelessly to protect lives, homes, and neighborhoods.

Our staff and Board of Directors have begun a conversation concerning ways the 90+ Project can come alongside players, families, and the broader community who have been affected by this devastation. We believe our responsibility extends beyond the game, and we are committed to finding meaningful ways to provide support during this difficult time.

As the full impact of the fires continues to unfold, we are aware that damage to Spokane parks and recreational spaces will affect upcoming training locations and schedules. We appreciate your patience as we work with local partners to assess field availability and communicate any necessary changes. We will share additional updates as they become available.

Though the road ahead may be difficult, Spokane has always been defined by the way neighbors show up for one another. We are confident that same spirit of compassion and generosity will carry our community through the days ahead. While soccer brings us together, it is our care for one another that defines who we are. We are continued carried forward by our core value; Ubuntu; reminding us that we are always stronger together.

Every Jersey Tells a Story...

Our Orange “Layers” Kit reflects the many layers of development that shape every young person in the 90+ Project. While soccer is the game we play, it is never the only goal. Every training session, every program, every scholarship, every job training opportunity, community service moment, reading initiative, or free after school program is an opportunity to build confidence, character, leadership, resilience, and belonging. This jersey represents our commitment to developing the whole child, because what happens beyond the game matters just as much as what happens on the field. We exist to “Play Today to Change Tomorrow”.
