𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗧𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗼 𝗞𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗮 from the Tacoma Biddhist Temple, is one of only two Jodo Shinshu chanting Experts in America. Join us as he guides us through chanting the "𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗺𝗯𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘂 𝗚𝗲".
Originally written in the 13th century by the founder of our tradition, Shinran Shonin, as an expression of gratitude for Amida Buddha and the Seven Pure Land Masters, the Shoshinge is chanted in Shin Buddhist Temples around the world.

All are welcome to join in the chanting of the “Shoshin Nembutsu ge” with our special guest, Rev. Koyama. Originally written in the 13th century by the founder of our tradition, Shinran Shonin, as an expression of gratitude for Amida Buddha and the Seven Pure Land Masters, the Shoshinge is chanted in Shin Buddhist Temples around the world. Our weekly Dharma service includes a Buddhist reading, quiet reflection, meditative sutra chanting, and a Dharma Talk exploring how we can learn from the Buddha’s teachings and how they continue to guide our everyday lives.
We conclude with the incense offering of Oshoko as an expression of gratitude and reverence for the teachings.
Afterwhich, we will gather for a light lunch and snacks, refreshments, and occasional open discussion.

Each gathering includes thoughtful discussion and concludes with open Q&A , welcoming 20-35 participants each week into a warm and engaging learning environment.
