All of us here at Wednesday’s Gift have made a decision to put the November Thanksgiving Give-Away at the Horseman’s in Novato on hold this year. With the current events, we have received an increase of requests for help. We feel that money spent on the give-a-way would be better utilized helping people in our community. Your donations have been a lifesaver for many here in Marin.
We will continue collecting coats, warm sweaters and shoes and are discussing to hold a February 2026 event with the “Open Your Heart/Valentine” theme.
Our collection barrels can be found at the following locations in Novato: West America Bank, Pini Hardware, Novato Builders and Golden State Lumber in San Rafael

Hello Friends!
We are helping a family who recently moved out of homelessness into a small apartment. The family is in need of a few things… wanted to put it out there if anyone has any of these items and would like to donate them to this family please contact our Executive Director- Eve Cooper at [email protected]. We will arrange pick up!

- 8 yr old boy clothing- pants and shirts size 7 or 8. Shoes size 12.
- Family/kids DVD’s
- Childrens books for 8 yr old
- sensory objects (stress balls, slime, bean bag) to calm neurodivergent minds
-cat toys & supplies
