Kiddo! Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation Kiddo! funds – art, music, drama, poetry, dance, and technology for more than 2,300 students in the TK-8 Mill Valley public schools.

Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, is a non-profit 501(c3) organization made up of parents, teachers, business people, and active members of the community who, since 1982, have raised tens of millions of dollars to supplement our limited school budgets. We fund vital programs and teachers at our five elementary schools and middle school – including art, music, drama, poetry, dance, P.E., technology, teacher grants, classroom aides and library aides.

Yesterday, Kiddo! was presented with a resolution from the Mill Valley School District celebrating our 45 years of service to our schools.

The current Kiddo! Board of Directors and staff is incredibly proud to build on this 45 year legacy, beginning in 1982 with Trisha Garlock and Penny Weiss, and continuing today through generations of Mill Valley students. Thank you to the teachers, administrators, and School Board Trustees for partnering with Kiddo! in so many wonderful ways.

To share an excerpt of the resolution:

"The impact of Kiddo!'s work can be seen not only in the programs and opportunities it supports, but also in the countless moments when a student discovers a new interest, finds a creative voice, develops a new skill, or simply experiences the joy of learning something new."

In honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day this past Monday, our MVMS students came together for a special assembly celebrating Indigenous culture and heritage. Thanks to Kiddo! and the PTSA, whose combined funding made this meaningful experience possible!

WHAT A DAY! ❤️💛

Mill Valley showed up BIG for Kiddo! Day, celebrating 45 years of supporting our schools, and together, we reached our $1 MILLION goal!

But we’re not stopping here! With nearly $2.5 million to raise each year to fund vital programs in our schools, we’re just getting started.

Let’s keep this incredible momentum going! Here’s to 45 years, $1 million, and a community that never stops showing up for our kids!

THANK YOU, MILL VALLEY! ❤️💛
