It’s Happening!
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Commission investigation report is currently still expected to be released this tomorrow.
We have experienced several delays throughout this process, but as of now everything appears to be moving forward as scheduled.
As you are aware this no action has been taken regarding the investigation, as of yet. But action is not required for the investigative report itself to be released.
We do not yet know what time the report will be provided to us, but our goal is to review it as quickly as possible and have it available by Friday evening, if we’re able.
From the records currently in our possession and what we have personally witnessed during Commission meetings, we believe the commissioners under investigation should have been removed long ago. If this report reflects the conduct we have observed and documented, we hope the Governor’s Office will act swiftly to hold those responsible accountable.
We also hope that political pressure, the financial influence of large donors, or threats from special interest groups do not interfere with government accountability.
We are expecting a substantial report, and we sincerely hope the investigator and the Governor’s Office conducted a thorough, objective review that accurately reflects what we all are aware has taken place within the WDFW Commission.
Once we receive the report, the full document will be available at ccofwashington.com, and we will also be sharing key findings and highlights as we work through it.
As always, we will keep everyone updated as soon as more information becomes available.
