Duo Duo Project Humanity Against the Dog and Cat Meat Trade Duo Duo promises to end the dog and cat meat trade.

Our campaigns focus on the cultural, social and economic changes needed to fulfill our promise. To save our four-legged friends we're committed to helping those trapped in the trade for income purposes. Duo Duo is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization with advocates throughout the world.

A passionate young veterinarian (26 years old) joined our team in China with a desire to transform the lives of animals for generations to come.

He is going to help Duo Duo Project create, promote, and sustain trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs throughout China, giving communities a humane, effective way to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats, which reduces the supply of victims to the dog and cat meat trade.

If you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), you can recommend a grant to Duo Duo Project and put charitable dollars you have already set aside to work for animals in China.

Your DAF can help this young veterinarian build something bigger than himself: a sustainable TNR movement that communities throughout China can embrace and carry forward.

Lai Fu was a popular dog ambassador and model for children’s art classes at our Compassion Center in China. He was a very kind and gentle guy. He helped tens of thousands of children learn how wonderful dogs can be, and that they deserve our kindness and appreciation. We are sorry to share that he recently passed away at the age of 12.

Giving children the opportunity to have up-close, personal interactions with dogs and cats is one of the most effective ways to change how they, and their parents, think of these remarkable animals. They begin to see dogs as family, not food.
