From the Bay Area and Central Valley to Prince William County, Virginia, SEIU 521 members showed up for our union siblings - and they WON! ✊🏽

This summer, Prince William County workers voted YES to form their union with our sister local SEIU Virginia 512. This overwhelming victory shows the power of workers organizing and standing together.

Now the fight continues: winning their first union contract.

🚨📰Our union makes international news!

Uber and Lyft drivers from the Central Valley to the Central Coast assembled in Los Angeles with legacy organizing drivers to celebrate that 🎉 WE WON OUR UNION✊🏻🚗 and formed the world’s largest union for rideshare drivers!

Gig drivers submitted enough card signatures to meet the state’s thresh hold and are ready to begin a campaign for a union contract. We’re saying yes fair rates, to a voice on the job, and standing up to unfair deactivations.

This campaign is not over. This just the beginning and we have the momentum to win.
