Nobody walks onto their first job knowing everything.
The trade is built on experienced hands taking the time to show the next person how it’s done. A tip on the job, a better way to approach a task, or a lesson learned the hard way can stick with someone for the rest of their career.
If you’ve been in the trade awhile, take the time to teach.
If you’re still learning, keep asking questions.
That’s how we keep the skills and standards of IBEW 569 moving forward.
What’s the best piece of advice another electrician ever gave you?

When something doesn’t seem right on the job, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Your IBEW 569 steward is there to help members understand the agreement, answer questions, address workplace concerns, and make sure the contract is being followed.
Know who your steward is. Ask questions. Speak up when something doesn’t look right.
A strong union starts with members looking out for each other on every jobsite.
