TMI's Temecula Office Community Integration Training Program (CITP) hosted its very first Paint & Sip event 🎨 for our clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, and Temecula areas.
This fun and relaxing event was organized by Direct Support Professional (DSP) Kellie Moncrief and hosted by CITP's trusted community partner, EQUU8 Horsemanship & Therapeutic Riding Ranch. 🎉
Kellie helped coordinate a wonderful experience for the more than 30 clients and DSPs in attendance. She took charge of the event details and prepped every canvas with a stallion sketch, allowing clients to paint with watercolors according to their personal creative abilities. 🐴 She also created an engaging informational board packed with fun facts about horses! 🐎
EQUU8 graciously provided their patio seating area for the festivities. Overlooking the ranch, everyone enjoyed the scenic views and sounds of the animals—horses, goats, peacocks, and more 🦚—all while relaxing with friends on a warm summer day ☀️ and sipping on refreshing water and lemonade. 🍋
A huge shoutout goes to the Temecula Office managers who assisted with setup, teardown, purchasing supplies, and providing day-of support. 👏
Another shoutout goes to Elena, EQUU8 Site Coordinator, who donated gallons of water, as well as TMI Computer Information Specialist Myke Cross and TMI Director of Computer Information Systems Sean Zafires, who helped load cars with chairs and tables for the event. 👏
