Eighteen years. More than 200,000 miles. Countless memories.

For Terry, his 2004 Nissan Frontier was a dependable companion for nearly two decades. It hauled trailers, stood the test of time, and was carefully maintained through the years until it was finally time to let it go.

As a Navy retiree, Terry wanted his truck's final journey to support those who have served. Choosing the Gary Sinise Foundation was an easy decision.

Sometimes, a vehicle is more than just a way to get from point A to point B—it’s part of the family.

For over 20 years, Deborah’s Ford Focus—affectionately named “Cap’n Jack”—was woven into her family’s story. It was her daughter’s first car and a constant through different seasons of life.

When it was time to say goodbye, Deborah chose to donate it to Humane World for Animals.

That one decision helped turn a cherished memory into funding that supports animal care, shelter, and second chances for pets in need.

It’s a powerful reminder that even the things we’ve loved for years can continue making a difference in new ways.

For Delton and Carlye, it meant donating their 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport—a vehicle filled with years of memories—to KLRN Public Television
