🇺🇸 VIB ON THE HILL — WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!

Veteran business owners and Corporate Partners joined us in Washington, D.C. to make sure the Veteran business community had a voice where it matters.

The VIB team Rebecca Aguilera-Gardiner, Cole Woodman and Sydney Santiago attended the Hoosier Huddle and meet with Senator Todd Young to discuss Veteran business opportunities in Indiana.

VIB On The Hill attendees had a private tour of the U.S. Capitol, followed by a reception overlooking Nationals Ballpark, and then it was time to get to work!

We heard directly from Ryan Lambert, Associate Administrator with the U.S. Small Business Administration, who is leading SBA’s Office of Government Contracting & Business Development, about the proposed changes to Small Business Size Standards. Nothing like having the opportunity to share your comments and concerns in person!

Sam Le also joined us and shared his valuable insights and experience on Capitol Hill.

From there, our day was packed with back-to-back meetings with Congressional staffers, giving Veteran business owners the opportunity to share their real-world experiences and discuss issues impacting their businesses, including:
* Small Business Size Standard updates
* Rule of Two
* Access to Capital
* Veteran Contracting Opportunities
* DoW Mentorship Programs

We wrapped up an incredible day with a Happy Hour at the Library of Congress, a true Washington, D.C. experience!

A HUGE thank you to Madison Services Group, Inc. Amy Emmett, Elizabeth Sullivan and Sophia Krimendahl for helping organize such an impactful event.

This is what VIB On The Hill is all about, bringing Veteran businesses directly to the table, building relationships and making sure their voices are heard.
