We will be at the USAFA tomorrow from 8 am until noon for the Winter Expo. Come see us at the USAFA Outdoor Recreation Winter Expo. We are raffling off Osprey Packs and VetEx hats. Stop by our booth, win some swag and see what we have on offer for 2027.

Our Annual Veterans Day trip to Moab is Sold Out. A friendly reminder to sign up early for upcoming trips as they are selling out earlier than ever.

On that note, most of our ice climbing schedule is up on the website. Sign up today as all of our 2027 schedule is expected to fill up fast in 2027. We will have most of our 2027 schedule up by the end of October. The entire schedule will be out by the end of the year.

Our first annual VetFest Vermont was a big success with lots of climbing, great local food, great accommodations, and a great crew to go exploring with. We have huge plans for next year and the future so save the last weekend in September 2027 for this trip to return. We will host an event at Miss Shannon’s School House ( the actual school house in the Beetlejuice movie) and have a full weekend of rock climbing and mountain biking. Just a couple weekends until VetFest Vermont. A new annual multi-sport event of mountain biking and rock climbing in greater Bradford Vermont. Local food sponsors, local business sponsors, Osprey Packs for the participants, climbing gear included, bring your mountain bike if you want to ride. Sounds like a good time to us. For 17 years we have climbed around 9/11 . We call it the VetEx 9/11 Climbing Series. We climb to remember the events on 9/11/01 and pay our respect to all those lost on that day and all those lost since. It is a gathering of military, vets, and non vets.

The gathering place has been Seneca Rocks Climbing School for many years now. We climb together, share food together, and rekindle old friendships. This year was another addition of this tradition. We had folks climbing all over the place. Rain threatened to derail our plans, but this group would not be denied. Big thanks to the KAJ Foundation and Osprey Packs for powering this year’s event. Thanks to Seneca Rocks Climbing School for hosting and making it all possible.

Next up we will do it again in Vermont at the end of the month. See you there.

We have been busy these past weeks and we are behind in our postings. First up was the Monarch Crest Crank. The Crest Crank is our annual charity mountain bike ride on the iconic Monarch Crest Trail. This year we saw great conditions and riders from all over. Post ride we were entertained by the S town Allstars and we enjoyed sandwiches from Your neighborhood pub & sandwich joint. and deserts from Sweetie's Sandwich Shop while we enjoyed some Tres Litros B**r Company .

We gave away a bike from Subculture Cyclery and many Osprey Packs . Many thanks to the town of Poncha Springs for their support and the use of Chipeta Park. Thank you to all the riders, supporters, and volunteers. It was a very successful event. We will see you all next year where we do it all again.

We have some bikes at our events this weekend that could go home with you. Friday night AChurchSalida we will be parting with the vintage Cannonade Super V. Come see the Rider and the Wolf film powered by Elevation B**r Company .

On Saturday we part with a Kona single speed powered by Subculture Cyclery . Saturday at Chipeta Park Poncha Springs from noon to 4 pm we have the S Town Allstars band, Tres Litros B**r Company Your neighborhood pub & sandwich joint. Sweetie's Sandwich Shop treats on hand. Open to the p***c. Come on by and celebrate with the Monarch Crest Crank riders.

1500 feet of climbing with 5400 feet of descent. The Monarch Crest Crank ride is among the best rides out there. We still have some spots left. Sign up today as the ride is next Saturday. And if you can’t make the ride but like independent films, we have a great one for you next Friday evening. Party in Chipeta Park next Saturday post ride as well. See you there.

This past weekend gave us the perfect taste of the incoming fall. Crisp temps, clear skies, and amazing mountains all shared with great people.

This past weekend we had a great trip in the PNW! The crew had amazing weather and minimal wildfire smoke for their climb up Mt Shuksan. Can’t beat it!
