The Chaffee Housing Trust (CHT) is a private nonprofit affordable home ownership developer. Through its shared-equity framework, it provides ownership opportunities to county residents who are priced out of the market, creating asset/wealth building and community/workforce stability for low-income residents, families, and employers.

River Village Residents- We installed a new info kiosk in the park. State law, park rules, and announcements are posted there!

CHT purchased River Village MHP in 2025 to preserve it as affordable housing in the community. 56 households live in this community; many of them have lived there for over a decade. We are working on infrastructure upgrades. Next, we will build some new homes on some vacant land.
