Rotary Club of Salida, Colorado

The Club meets at the Salida Community Center located at 305 F. Street every Monday at noon.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. The Salida Rotary Club is located in the majestic Rocky Mountains of Colorado and has served the region for over 75 years.

Cassie Stauch, Synergy’s director, was our guest at Rotary today!

Synergy is a 501c3 Nonprofit providing free mental health care to food and beverage service workers. Synergy’s vision is to support and normalize access to mental health and wellness in the Chaffee County food and beverage service industry, fostering the creation of a healthy workplace.

A huge thank you to Mr. Bill Almquist, Community Development Director for the City of Salida, Colorado! Bill gave us a clear explanation on many of our city's new developments, especially those with deed restricted or affordable housing opportunities for our workforce and how those are funded. A huge thank you to our guest speaker and advocate for The Alliance in Salida, Cat Schleicher. (Cat is pictured on the left with club Secretary Devon Kasper). Cat spoke to our club about all the ways The Alliance supports survivors of domestic abuse and human trafficking: painfully our county helps support hundreds of cases each year.
