We’re thrilled to announce that the keynote speaker for this year’s Minnesota Cooperative Summit will be Doug O'Brien, President and CEO of the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International (NCBA CLUSA).

NCBA CLUSA is the primary voice in the United States for people who use cooperatives to build a better world. Doug will share insights and inspiration that show how cooperatives are both resilient and prepared to meet today’s moment.

We invite you to join us July 28-29th at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth to hear Doug’s insights, connect with change-makers, learn from peers, and discover how the cooperative model is strengthening communities across our state.

Thanks to Minnesota Credit Unions for inviting CoMinnesota to facilitate the panel discussion,"Stronger Together: Leveraging Cooperative Principles to Solve Community Challenges." Our conversation featured cross-sector cooperative perspectives and the ways credit unions can cooperate with food, worker, housing, rural electric, agriculture co-ops and beyond.

Panelists Emily Stewart and Brent Rempe highlighted a recent partnership between First Alliance Credit Union and CoNorth in which First Alliance provided financing for a resident-owned manufactured home park conversion to a cooperative.
