A fantastic group has been working hard to showcase all that Toronto and the region has to offer at next month. They are helping attendees experience the region through the Pre-conference Events and Mobile Workshops. They have planned an adventurous Welcome Reception, which starts at the conference hotel with choose-your-own-adventure activities to follow. They coordinate volunteers and support local fundraising, marketing and outreach.

As practitioners, leaders and advocates from all over North America get ready to converge on Toronto, we want to put the spotlight on our fantastic Local Hosts: City of Toronto, Infrastructure Ontario, Metrolinx, and Toronto Transit Commission. On this webinar, they’ll give us an introduction to their organizations and to the city and region we’ll all be there to explore.

Over the last several months, the members of the local host committee have brought their knowledge and experience to the goal of creating a conference that showcases projects and stories in Toronto and across the region. There is a lot going on, as Ontario moves forward on one of the biggest transit expansions in North America and works to leverage those investments to add more housing and create more connections so residents and businesses can thrive.
