September at LEAP is Food Access Month. We have launched our annual Harvest Season Fund Drive. Our goal this month is to raise $12,000 which accounts for 10% of our annual Harvest bucks budget. Every dollar raised ensures fresh, healthy locally produced food is accessible to people in our community, regardless of income. Consider donating today on our website and sharing this with a friend!

As the late-summer crops reach their peak and harvest season gets underway, we are reminded of the power of fresh, locally grown food to nourish both our bodies and our community.

September at LEAP is Food Access Month. All month long we have our Harvest Season Fund Drive to support our Harvest Bucks program. We are asking our community to help us reach our $12,000 fundraising goal by the end of the month!

Valley Voice is a local voice studio dedicated to helping people discover and use their most authentic voice for speaking or singing in a healthy, sustainable way. All sessions are provided by vocologist and voice-specialized speech-language pathologist Lauren Lawson (she/her), and examples of services include singing lessons, vocal rehab, and gender-voice alignment.

Join us on September 20th for LEAP’s Farm Harvest Supper, a LEAP fundraiser and celebration of our local food community! This year we’re gathering in the West End Farmers Market Pavilion for a farm-to-table feast, grown by local farmers and prepared by local chefs. This joyful and delicious event raises funds for LEAP’s community work–supporting local farmers and increasing local food access for all.

Featuring:
** Social Hour with music, cash bar, and tours of the LEAP Hub
** Drinks crafted by Lucky Restaurant
** Farm-to-table meal prepared by bloom | restaurant & wine-bar , Crystal Spring Grocery Co., Dorothy & Frank's , Kind Baking Co., Lucky Restaurant, The River And Rail, Yard Bull Meats and LEAP Scratch Kitchen.

It’s SNAP Double Match Day at West End Farmers Market, this Tuesday from 3pm–6pm! For customers with SNAP/EBT, every $1 you spend, you get $2 free to spend on fruits and veggies!!

The market is open to everyone!

Plus, every Tuesday, all kids (2-17) get $5 Kids Bucks for fruits and veggies and customers with SNAP, WIC, and Medicaid get $1 free fruits and vegetables for every $1 you spend. Visit the market manager to learn more.

After you shop the market, check out the LEAP Community Store to complete your shop with additional veggies, grab-and-go foods, pantry and bulk items, and more!

Celebrate the farmers who feed our community! This week we're highlighting the local growers and producers who bring fresh vegetables, meats, and other seasonal foods to market each week.

Farmers markets build abundance and resilience in our communities! They
