Get2KnowNoke plays an important role in showcasing the Roanoke Region of Virginia to prospective residents, workers, students, and businesses, highlighting our communities, employers, recreation, arts and culture, and quality of life. As a talent attraction and community connection initiative of the Roanoke Regional Partnership, it’s a great example of the power of regional collaboration and telling our region’s story together!

RoCo Pros, Roanoke County’s employee group for emerging professionals and leaders, provides opportunities for staff to connect across departments, engage with regional partners, volunteer in the community, and gain a broader perspective on how our work contributes to the success of Roanoke County, Virginia and the Roanoke Region.

We appreciate Julia and Michelle taking the time to connect with the RoCo Pros and look forward to finding more ways to collaborate! 🤝

In 2022, Munters officially opened its Botetourt County facility, originally announcing the creation of 200 jobs. However, the actual number of jobs was 400 when it was all said and done.

In 2025, they announced an expansion that would create an additional 270 new jobs.

And now, with the expansion complete, Munters employs 670 of our regional friends and neighbors. That is 670 direct jobs in our region in less than five years. Incredible.

Congratulations to Munters on this new milestone! Our region is lucky to have you.

Eldor, an Italian-based manufacturing company in Botetourt, has earned Ford Q1 status, a significant designation that recognizes the company’s commitment to quality, reliability, and performance as a Ford supplier. With more than 4,000 parts delivered to Ford every day, maintaining that level of performance requires a relentless focus on quality and a commitment to never become complacent.

Eldor’s success is a great example of the world-class manufacturing happening right here in the Roanoke Region. We’re proud to see an international company continue to grow and excel in Botetourt County, and even prouder that the region has become a place that feels a little like home to Eldor’s Italian team.
