We’re so thankful for the amazing leaders at Kirk Family YMCA! We’re more than a gym we’re a community, and our ELC kiddos feel that every day. 💙

A big thank-you to Mr. Chris our Property Coordinator for building our beautiful light table and always being ready to help; Miss Heather the Wellness Coordinator for helping us organize the classroom and build some of our new furniture; and Mr. Delonte the Youth and Family Director for being a positive role model and lending a helping hand as our little ones work through big emotions. It truly takes a village!

Looking for a preschool experience that offers more than kindergarten readiness? At the Kirk Family YMCA Early Learning Center, children learn through play, build real-life skills, and grow in a caring community. We’re enrolling 3- and 4-year-olds reach out to learn more!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: We welcomed two new team members FOUR months ago... And we are only now getting around to introducing them.

Meet Delonte Campbell, our Youth & Family Director and Kieran Liles- McAllister, our Aquatics Director!

Delonte is originally from Northern Virginia and is a Ferrum College graduate with a degree in elementary education. He also played four years of college football and serves as Associate Head Coach for Hidden Valley High School Football and Assistant Varsity Coach for Hidden Valley Basketball.

Kieran brings 10 years of aquatics experience to the Y. He grew up in western New York, went to school there and has called the Roanoke area home for the past two years. When he’s not at the Y, you can find him coaching as the Head Coach of the Lord Botetourt Swim Team or Assistant Coach for the Marlins Swim Team.

Both of these superstars bring tons of experience leading programs, building relationships and juggling approximately 47 things at once. 😂

Welcome to the Y, Delonte and Kieran! We’re sorry it took us four months to tell everyone! Please join us in giving them a warm welcome!
