Are you a hound lover? Big boy Peter Pan is looking for his forever family. The RCACP is waiving all pet adoption fees this month for Clear the Shelters, meaning you can adopt Peter Pan or any other pet for free.

Meet Nami 🥺💗

Nami is 2 years old, and she’s a little introvert with a BIG heart.

She’s been spending time in a foster home while going through heartworm treatment, and she has one more week of rest before she has to head back to the shelter. 💔

And look at her now. 🥹

This sweet girl went from being scared of the TV and even the fans… to playing with her toys all by herself, showing off her sit, down, wait & stay skills, and finding some pretty great places to take a nap. 😂❤️

Nami is well-mannered in the house, crate trained and not destructive. She’d much rather hang out quietly with her humans than go on a walk. She’s also scared of thunderstorms, so she’s looking for someone who will happily be her safe place when the skies get scary. ⛈️🥺

Nami is timid and will need a quiet, patient home where she can take her time coming out of her shell. She is housetrained, although she may have an accident here or there if she gets too nervous to let you know. A routine would definitely help prevent accidents.

But here’s the thing about shy dogs…

Once they choose their person, they can love you with their whole heart. ❤️

Nami has already come such a long way. We just need someone willing to help her take those last few steps.

Meet S’mores. 🍫🐾
He’s 67 pounds of chill, sweetness and very serious squeaky-toy business. 😂
S’mores is the kind of guy who doesn’t need to be the center of attention. He’s perfectly happy to hang out, observe the world, take a nice walk and carry his favorite toy around like it’s his briefcase.
He’s 5, neutered, vaccinated, rides nicely in the car and is ready for his forever people.
And yes… those sad puppy eyes are absolutely part of his treat-negotiation strategy. 👀😂
Basically, he’s S’mores.
And honestly? Who doesn't want S’mores? 🍫❤️

From waiting for her forever family to becoming a regular at church with a whole congregation of people who adore her… this is what adoption updates are all about. 🩷
Peace Lily is clearly living her very best life, and we couldn't be happier for her and her family.

It's 🐾❤️ This week meet a two-year-old mix named Cousin Cletis. He's a sweet and high-energy dog who has been at the Regional Center for Animal Care & Protection for months and is growing restless for either a foster or permenant home.
