Friends of RCACP

Friends of RCACP Our primary objective revolves around supporting pets through funding initiatives geared towards enhancing adoption rates and raising awareness. unknown

Our focus lies in providing assistance to pets at RCACP without functioning as a rescue organization. Our mission is to support the pets at RCACP, by providing funds for various programs to increase adoptions and awareness. We are not a rescue organization; we are a group dedicated to the homeless pets at RCACP. We are an all-volunteer organization. We hope that you will join us in making a Paws-i

tive difference for our community's homeless pets. Together we can reduce their stress, heal their hearts and body so that they can find their furever home. "You can do something big, or you can do something small. Because whatever you do ...it's better than nothing at all."

MUST READ!!!! Please share.

Our large dog rooms are completely full with dogs ranging from 40–90 lbs, and we urgently need temporary fosters for 1–2 weeks while we work to make space.

We are trying very hard to reunite stray dogs with their families, but new strays continue coming in daily. By law, we are required to hold stray dogs for 5–10 days in hopes an owner comes forward. Unfortunately, that means our current shelter dogs are now in danger as we run out of space.

We need fosters NOW. Any of our available LARGE dogs can go into foster care. At this time, the list is simply too large for us to go through every dog individually regarding compatibility with other pets, so we are asking fosters to please keep foster dogs separated from other animals in the home if possible.

If we do not make space within the next few days, lives can be lost. The shelter cannot control what comes in from the public or animal control, but we are doing everything we can to save as many lives as possible.

Even fostering for just 1–2 weeks can make a life-saving difference.

If you can help, please contact me IMMEDIATELY:

If you are not already an approved foster, please email for a foster application. Please share — we desperately need help.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there — the moms of humans, the moms of rescue pets, the foster moms, the grandmas, the stepmoms, and the ones missing a child or beloved pet today. ❤️
Thank you for the love, patience, comfort, and kindness you give so freely. The world is softer because of you.
We also want to give a special thank you to the moms who open their homes and hearts to animals in need. Every bottle-fed kitten, every scared shelter dog, every life saved… it matters more than words can say.
We hope today brings you love, peace, and maybe a few extra snuggles. 🌸 Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Friends of RCACP
