Our primary objective revolves around supporting pets through funding initiatives geared towards enhancing adoption rates and raising awareness. unknown

Our focus lies in providing assistance to pets at RCACP without functioning as a rescue organization. Our mission is to support the pets at RCACP, by providing funds for various programs to increase adoptions and awareness. We are not a rescue organization; we are a group dedicated to the homeless pets at RCACP. We are an all-volunteer organization. We hope that you will join us in making a Paws-itive difference for our community's homeless pets. Together we can reduce their stress, heal their hearts and body so that they can find their furever home. "You can do something big, or you can do something small. Because whatever you do ...it's better than nothing at all."

🐾 URGENT
BABY HAS BEEN WAITING 300+ DAYS. 🐾

THREE HUNDRED. PLUS. DAYS. 😭

Baby is only about 2 years old, and somehow this sweet girl has spent most of her young life waiting for someone to notice her.

Well… WE NOTICE YOU, BABY. ❤️

And we really need someone else to notice her, too.

Baby is:
🐾 Housebroken
🐾 Medium energy
🐾 Loves her toys
🐾 Seems to do well with other dogs
🐾 Loves getting out for RAD trips
🐾 And absolutely LOVES WATER! 💦

Baby pool? YES.
Garden hose? ABSOLUTELY.
A perfectly respectable day of splashing around like she pays the water bill? 100%. 😂

She has also spent time in a foster home before and did well.

Baby can be a little particular about who she immediately feels comfortable with, so a meet-and-greet is important. Once she knows you’re one of the good ones, she has a whole lot of love and fun to offer. ❤️

And right now, the shelter is FULL.

We would LOVE to see Baby get out of the kennel and into a foster home where she can decompress, stretch out, play with her toys, splash in some water and just… BE A DOG.

She has waited long enough.

Maybe her person isn't looking for a dog named Baby.

Maybe they're looking for this Baby. 🥹❤️

🎉 Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic – October 13th! 🎉

Friends of RCACP and Mountain View Humane are teaming up again to bring a low-cost spay/neuter clinic to our community!

🐾 Open to residents of:
Roanoke County, Roanoke City, Town of Vinton, & Botetourt County.

🐶🐱 For all size dogs and cats!

📅 Drop-off: Tuesday, October 13th @ 7:45 AM
📍 RCACP Parking Lot – 1510 Baldwin Ave NE, Roanoke
🕟 Pick-up: 4:30 PM (same location)

❤️❤️ Just got an update from Diamond:
Thank you guys for letting Matt adpot me! This has been the best thing ever. Everyday, we go on a walk, play in the yard when dad gets home, and he even let's me cuddle and lay in his bed with him. Every morning I wake up in my new dad's bed,we go outside to potty and I get a treat. I'm soooo loving this new life. Here are some pictures of me since I got adopted. Thanks again for letting Matt adopt me! This is the life!
