It's hard not to smile along with Lion Todd Frye as he receives the District Governor's Spark Plug Award from the Monterey Lions Club. He was recognized for his all-hands-on deck approach: from pork rind sales during Monterey’s Maple Festival to the Highland County Fair, Lion Todd is always ready to lend a helping hand to make it an event a success.

DG Chuck Schwab with the help and support of "King Lion" along with Lion Dan from the Broadway Lions Club had a busy day selling brooms at Broadway's Autumn Fest. In addition to offering both right handed and left handed brooms this year, they guaranteed that their 2026 model brooms will never need an oil change.
