Here is Taryn about to birth a ping pong ball baby at one of our classes! These "babies" tend to fly across the room, but other than that, it's actually a pretty good way to demonstrate the way contractions work! 🎈👶

Behold, our workbook! This has been with us in one version or another since our second class ever - in September of 2022. We made it ourselves, and it is choc-full of not only current standards of practice, but also tons of practical advice and common explanations of what you will experience from late pregnancy through early postpartum - plus, it doubles as a coloring book! It was written by our educators, Grace and Taryn, and Grace did all the illustrations herself! Every couple gets a copy to keep when they sign up for our class :) 📘🖍️

Did you know that cabbage is great for weaning? If you don't plan on breastfeeding, we highly recommend having a friend drop off a fresh cabbage for you once you get to the mother-baby floor 🥬 And, no! You don't eat it - keep it in the fridge and put the leaves in your bra - not only are they cool and refreshing, but the leaves contain many anti-inflammatory chemicals that can help reduce milk supply and reduce engorgement! They are also naturally the perfect shape for this - how cool! 😂
