On June 5, the hallways of Marguerite Christian Elementary got a little brighter.

Deloitte professionals joined us for their global Impact Day, rolling up their sleeves alongside our community partners at Communities In Schools of Chesterfield to give the school a fresh coat of paint and a whole lot of love. Beyond the brushes, the team got a firsthand look at the work CIS does every day inside schools like Marguerite Christian, surrounding students and families with the support systems they need to move forward. It was a morning of connection, learning, and putting hope into action.

United Way is grateful to help bring partners like these together. To the Deloitte team, thank you for choosing to make an impact that matters - globally, and locally.

As you look through these photos, we hope you feel what we felt in that room. The fifth annual United Way High Tea Fundraiser was something truly special, and it happened because of a room of incredible changemakers.

The program supports single mom scholars who are determined to finish their degrees and build a different future for their families. Thank you to our speakers who grounded every moment in the mission, and to every community champion who joined, in person and online, to put hope into action. This is what community looks like.
