Virginia Law Foundation Awards Grant to DTW

Drive-To-Work and DTW Driving School received a $10,000 grant from the the which will help expand representation for underserved individuals.

At a luncheon on August 20 Virginia Museum of History & Culture the announced that it awarded $753,000 to 34 organizations this year. Since the grants program began in 1984, the foundation has given more than $30 million to support initiatives and nonprofits across Virginia. The grants advance the foundation’s mission to uphold the Rule of Law, expand access to justice, and enhance law-related education.

“We are truly honored to receive support from the Virginia Law Foundation as we work to help formerly incarcerated and low income Virginians regain their driving privileges,” said Sara R. Wilson, president and CEO of Drive-To-Work. “This grant strengthens our ability to help clients rebuild their lives, support their families, and contribute to their communities. We are deeply appreciative.”
