It’s been two weeks since The Great Richmond Trivia Bee 2026, and we’re still feeling the energy from an incredible night! 🐝

Thank you to everyone who joined us whether you competed, sponsored, or volunteered. Your support helped make the event such a success, and together we raised more than $60,000 to support READ RVA’s free adult literacy programs across the Greater Richmond Region!

We were thrilled to welcome more than 300 guests for an evening filled with friendly competition, laughter, and community impact. Every team, every cheer, and every moment helped move our mission forward.

Our CEO, Karen O’Brien, CARITAS participant Calvin, and volunteer Suzanne Long recently took part in READ Between the Wines, a quarterly seminar series from READ RVA that raises awareness about adult literacy and its deep connection to social justice and opportunity.

Literacy opens doors - to employment, stability, confidence, and second chances. We’re grateful to share space in conversations that remind us how powerful words, stories, and education can be. 💙
