We were honored to support Hampton, VA - Gov at last night's "Your Say with Mayor Gray" town hall for Spanish-speaking residents!

Mirian, a program specialist and interpreter at CCC used her incredible skills to help facilitate conversation with Mayor Jimmy Gray and constituents. We're proud to have Mirian on our team and grateful she could step in for our community

New Americans legally arriving in our country as refugees have a lot to take in as they adjust to a new culture, learn English, and rebuild their lives - often after experiencing significant trauma.

Amid so much uncertainty, CCC works to help families get acclimated and experience a warm, welcoming environment.

We are so grateful for the support we receive from Langley Federal Credit Union , which helps ensure we can continue welcoming all who come to our door.

We've loved connecting, collaborating and having fun with Catholic Charities leaders from across the country this week at Catholic Charities USA 2026 Annual Gathering.

It has been such a joy to host and show off some of our favorite local spots, including a fun evening at River City Roll.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a wonderful gathering!

Last week we had the privilege of getting together with our Newport News community to enjoy good food, good conversation, and awesome art completed by local refugees.

Catholic Charities USA's 2026 Annual Gathering is underway in Richmond. For the next 2 days Catholic Charities leaders from across the country are coming together to celebrate shared ministries and connect and learn from each other. Yesterday, Bishop Barry Knestout of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond led the opening mass along with Bishop Ruggieri from Maine.

We are looking forward to see what bridges we can build this week!
