We had so much fun with our Type 1 community yesterday at the Maine P-Pods 2026 PUMPkin carving party!

Families from all over the Maine gathered for a morning of hot coffee, delicious c***r and shared stories while celebrating Halloween.

A holiday that can be tricky for any T1D or their family with questions like:

“Where do we put insulin pumps with our costumes?”

We say show em off!

Dosing for all the mini candy bars that you lost track of. (We’ve all been there ⬆️)

And more.

Thank you for everyone who spent the day with us, stay tuned for more events from ❄️ camp this December and lots more in winter 2026 from our annual summit to Ice Hockey!

We are so excited for THIS Saturdays Type 1 Diabetes 🎃 carving event from 10am-12pm!

We have over 20 people registered and can’t wait to have fun, eat Halloween goodies (with carb count sheets 😉) and make memories with our T1D community, a community who gets it!

Thank you Kings Mountain Orrington for once again supplying pumpkins for our families and friends while we make memories that will last a lifetime.

Our T1D Maine community keeps getting stronger and stronger with inspiring families like Type One Warriors Walk!

We cannot say thank you enough for thinking of Maine P-Pods and so many other wonderful T1D charities to give back too!

Thank you to the 100 some people who come out Saturday and supported the Type One Warriors Walk! It means more than you all know! 🥹❤️

The numbers are in and the money is tallied and deposited!! 😁. We are overwhelmed in the best way with the unbelievable generosity we received for the Type One Warriors Walk and Co****le! ❤️🥹💙

We could not thank everyone enough for all of the support! 🥹❤️. The grand total after the 2 day event of the walk and Co****le and all the donations we received before and during came to……… $21,177.00!! 😳🥹😁💙

We are blown away! THANK YOU!!!! ❤️🥹💙. We are truly blessed with the community and support system that we are so lucky and thankful to have, from near and far! 🥹❤️

Thank you all for an unbelievable 1st ever Type One Warriors Walk and Co****le! We are excited to give what we raised to the Crushing T1 Foundation - fighting for the cure, Maine P-PODS - organization providing support for Maine Type 1 families, and a portion to provide Braelyn’s Goody Bags to local newly diagnosed T1D’s, year round! We are ready to give that out and will keep you all posted! 😁💙

Sooo...this was supposed to be the week that we were still on a high from the best sweetshotsfordiabetes fundraiser and promoting Jessica's run with Maine Marathon ...our final fundraiser of the year for our Sweet Shots for Diabetes/Stronger than ONE!

Well, looks like it's next week that we'll be on an even bigger high....raising funds to support the cause we are so passionate about...our T1D Warriors and their families!
