The Washington State Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) will be hosting a free in-person OMWBE Certification 101 Information Session on Wednesday, June 24, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Aspen Room at Vancouver City Hall.

This workshop is open to all small businesses, including businesses located outside Vancouver and across the river in Oregon. The session is especially valuable for minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses interested in growing their business through public contracting opportunities.

Attendees will learn:
• The value of becoming OMWBE certified
• How certification can help businesses access government contracting opportunities
• Information about the Linked Deposit Program and other business resources
• Available technical assistance and support services from OMWBE and partner organizations
• How agencies and buyers use the OMWBE directory to identify certified businesses
