In late 2025, we partnered with Youth Villages to bring an intensive in-home behavioral health program to Tillamook County – helping children at risk of being separated from their families and supporting safe reunification.

“The program doesn’t just focus on the child but also supports the circles around the child that impact their success,” said Qurynn Hale, Columbia Pacific Behavioral Health Program Manager.

What does a “good” day look like to you?

During Mental Health Month, we’re honoring this year’s theme, “More Good Days, Together,” by recognizing that good days can look different for everyone. A good day doesn’t have to mean being happy or productive. Sometimes it means having a manageable day, finding a moment of calm or knowing you have support when you need it.

Many factors that impact our health are beyond our control, but care, connection and community support can make a difference. No matter how you’re feeling now, remember that more good days are possible and help is available.

A shared commitment to healthier communities is driving new diabetes prevention efforts in Tillamook County.

We are a supporting partner to Tillamook County Community Health Centers on a collaborative effort to reduce the incidence of type 2 diabetes and strengthen how it is managed across the community.

The Connect Well initiative will hire and deploy Community Health Workers (CHWs) across clinical and community settings. CHWs will help connect members to diabetes prevention resources, including primary care, nutrition education and physical activity programs to support healthier outcomes.

In Tillamook County, approximately 8% of adults are currently living with type 2 diabetes, highlighting the importance of accessible, community-driven prevention and support.

The Tillamook Headlight Herald recently highlighted our partnership with Youth Villages, which aims to expand access to care with in-home behavioral health services for families covered by the Oregon Health Plan (OHP).

In rural communities like Tillamook, access to care can be limited. These programs meet families where they are – offering intensive, whole-family support during challenging times. We’re grateful for our partnership with Youth Villages and the opportunity to help connect families with the support they need.

Since November, families working through challenging situations in Tillamook County have had a new resource to turn to, following the arrival of Youth Villages, which offers in-home behavioral health treatment

Colorectal cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer‑related deaths in the U.S. — but when caught early, the 5‑year survival rate is about 90%.

Early detection saves lives. You can get screened with an at‑home FIT kit or a colonoscopy, which checks for and removes polyps. Talk with your primary care provider to help decide which screening option is best for you.
