Peanut is 1.3lbs today - less than half the size of other 11 week old kittens. Luckily, he is only 0.2lbs away from being the minimum size for a diagnostic blood draw. We hope to find answers as to WHY he is so smol and how we can help him thrive moving forward.

Happy Mother’s Day to our former mama cats patiently waiting in foster care!!🌸🌻🌷

Unlike their kittens, mama cats can take months to find an adopter and are often passed up by applicants for their own kittens. Just like all of our adoptable kittens, each of these mamas has a unique personality and set of needs they will bring to their forever home. Some may prefer to be a single cat. Others have disabilities that can be managed through continued care.. MOST just need a family to call their own.

All that’s to say, during your search this kitten season, consider opening your home to a mama cat instead/ as well. They’re just as sweet and twice as grateful🥰 happy Mother’s Day!!! All proceeds from this auction go towards the medical care and physical needs of the ~600-700 animals our NWAC volunteers will welcome into their homes this year. From ruptured eye balls to newborn kittens, every cent helps a community cat in need!!
