🌸 is an assisted living center providing residents with high-end care by trained staff 🩺 and high-quality services, including the option of independent living 🏘️. There’s a variety of social 🌐, educational 📚, and entertaining 🎭 activities that help residents maintain a high quality of life and encourages socialization and friendship 🫂. They also offer guided tours for those considering this beautiful living center. We are so grateful for your ongoing support and help for preparing for this year’s Reigning Roses Walk!

McDaniel High School's Business Management Class, advised by Mr. Frank Fields, granted Rose Haven a $2,875 check on May 18th! This class participates in Schnitzer Cares: Student Grantmaking, which is the largest youth-led, student grantmaking program in the country. Students collaborate with the Schnitzer Cares team in choosing a community issue and interviewing nonprofit representatives to decide which nonprofit to fund.

The class’s mission is to address human trafficking in the Portland community, this drive stemmed from witnessing a woman trafficked during a field trip on 82nd. Through grantmaking, this class’s goal is to support nonprofits that help trafficking survivors and those at risk.

This class chose to fund Rose Haven in addition to Call to Safety, and Safety Compass. We are so grateful for the support and these funds make significant changes in serving the women and children of Rose Haven. Thank you MHS’s Business Management Class and !

🌹Rose Haven is pleased to announce our next Executive Director, Desiree Eden Ocampo.

"I'm honored to join the team at Rose Haven as the next Executive Director. I look forward to building on its incredible legacy as a sanctuary for women and people of marginalized genders in our community. While it is bittersweet to leave Rahab's Sisters, I carry with me profound gratitude for the guests, volunteers, and staff who have taught me the true essence of radical hospitality. I look forward to bringing that spirit to Rose Haven and continuing our shared mission of supporting marginalized communities across Portland,” says Desiree Eden Ocampo.

🌟Desiree Eden is set to start as Executive Director at Rose Haven July 15, 2026. Roey Thorpe will continue to serve as Interim Executive Director as we continue work to ensure a thoughtful and stable transition.

❤Please join us in welcoming Desiree Eden to our Rose Haven community. We look forward to this new chapter.
